Introducing Profile Links
October 22, 2026
by Alex Benzer

We're introducing profile links, a new way to highlight links at the top of your Bluesky profile. You can now show off your website, newsletter, other social accounts, or anywhere else you'd like people to find you.
Unlike traditional "link in bio" pages, which require visitors to click through a pop-up or another page before visiting your links, Bluesky’s profile links send your followers directly where you’d like them to go. That means people who visit your profile are just one click away from reading your work, subscribing, or supporting you.
Supporting creators
We’re excited about helping creators grow their audiences and build businesses beyond the platform, rather than trying to keep all that activity inside Bluesky. We want to make it easier for creators to build a subscriber base and earn a living from their work. That's why links to payment platforms like Patreon and Ko-fi automatically appear as prominent green buttons on profiles.
These links take people directly to creators' existing payment pages, where they can subscribe or contribute using the services creators know and trust. Our goal is to help creators build sustainable businesses on their own terms.
Profile links are also a first step toward a broader vision of creator monetization across the Atmosphere, the open ecosystem of apps built on the AT Protocol. Over time, we want to explore ways for creators to offer memberships and other benefits that work across apps, so their businesses aren't dependent on any single platform.
Getting started
Here’s how you can add links to your own profile:
- Open your Bluesky profile and select Edit Profile
- Find the new Links section and add a URL
- Optionally, give your link a custom title
- Add your links and drag to reorder them
Your links will appear directly below your bio where anyone visiting your profile can easily find them. People on mobile devices can tap and hold your links to preview the full URL.
We’re excited to see your new profile links. Go add some and let us know what you think!
